      Turn on the rice cooker and heat it up and add oil, and once heated, add the chopped garlic and ginger paste and sauté well.

      Next, add cumin powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper and coriander powder and mix well.

      Add the soaked rice to the cooker and stir well to combine it with the spices.

      Next, pour in the prepared tomato puree and mix thoroughly with the rice.

      Add water to the rice cooker and stir to combine. Add the salt and Maggi chicken-flavoured seasoning cube, then mix well. Let the rice cook well.

      Once the rice is cooked, sprinkle oregano over the top and serve hot.
